Yavapai Soccer provides Youth soccer in the Prescott area and Yavapai County, Arizona. Programs provide soccer for youths in Prescott Valley, Prescott, Dewey, Mayer, Chino Valley and surrounding areas. Yavapai Soccer is the elite youth soccer club and academy in the tri-city & surrounding areas. We are a non-profit volunteer organization that provides quality soccer programs for ages 3 to 18. Our youth programs include the fall recreation season (September - November) played in Prescott Valley, select competitive teams which play year-round in the local area and travel to tournaments, and the Yavapai Cup tournament held in Prescott Valley in the spring.

Prescott Valley Little League endorses the National Little League philosophy, and has made only slight modifications to some of the playing rules in an attempt to enhance the playing experience for our children. Read the league by-laws to familiarize yourself with the local rules. The following is an excerpt from the National Little League organization: "Little League Baseball is a program of service to youth. It is geared to provide an outlet of healthful activity and training under good leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation. The movement is dedicated to helping children become good and decent citizens. It strives to inspire them with a goal and to enrich their lives toward the day when they must take their places in the world. It establishes for them rudiments of teamwork and fair play."

The football season begins with the draft on July 24, 2010, and will run to November 13, 2010. Beginning August 2, 2010, we will have practice Monday thru Friday for three weeks. At this point in the season, we will change practice to two nights a week, usually Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Jamboree is on August 28, 2010 and the games start on September 4, 2010. Tackle football is an intense and disciplined sport. There is a great deal of commitment expected from participants and parents. The first three weeks of the season, practice is held every week night, Monday thru Friday, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. This is to condition the athletes due to insurance and American Youth Football (AYF) regulations. All athletes are required to meet a minimum of twenty hours of conditioning before they are allowed to have contact in pads or 'hit.'

The Prescott Valley Youth Basketball League provides boys and girls ages 5-17 the chance to learn the important lessons of life -- the value of a good education, good sportsmanship and giving back to the community -- right along with the how-to's of hoops. The Prescott Valley Youth League is for kids of all skill levels and features free clinics by players and coaches, tournaments and skills competitions.
